What is FindYourSurfBuddy?
FindYourSurfBuddy is the community app for surfers and board-sports riders (surf, windsurf, kitesurf, wing foil). Join the communities of your spots, chat about conditions in each spot's group chat, announce your “I'm going in” sessions, swap your home with fellow surfers and follow board-sports competitions from the inside.
Is the app free?
Yes. A free account lets you join up to 3 spots, chat in their group chats and browse home-exchange listings. The subscription unlocks unlimited spots, hosts' contact details, all listing photos and publishing your own listings.
How do “I'm going in” sessions work?
Any member of a spot announces a session with a time slot. Others sign up in a single tap and get a reminder before it starts — no more solo sessions.
How does the home exchange between surfers work?
You publish a geolocated listing with your dates, the number of beds and the boards included, then swap your home with another member's: zero rent, 100% surf. Contacting hosts is a subscriber feature.
On which platforms is the app available?
The app is coming to iPhone and Android. The website, available in French, English and Spanish, is where you discover the product, manage your account and subscribe.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
No. Each payment, secured by Stripe on this website, opens a fixed-length access period — no automatic renewal, no surprises.
